  • Messages exchanged during chat consultations
  • Images, files, and attachments shared during sessions
  • Consultation details and history

d) Payment Data

  • Transaction reference IDs and payment status
  • Payment proof screenshots uploaded by users
  • We do not directly store your bank account, UPI, or card details

e) Technical & Usage Data

  • IP address, browser type, device information, and operating system
  • Pages visited, time spent, and interaction patterns

  • With Astrologers: Your birth details and consultation messages are shared with the astrologer assigned to your consultation, solely for the purpose of providing the consultation.
  • Service Providers: We may share data with trusted third-party service providers (hosting, analytics) who assist in operating our platform, subject to confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Astro Phal, our users, or others.

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data:

  • All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encrypted connections
  • Chat conversations use encrypted WebSocket connections
  • Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing algorithms
  • Payment proof files are stored securely and accessible only to authorised staff

While we strive to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

  • Your account data is retained as long as your account remains active.
  • Consultation records, chat history, and payment records are kept for a minimum of 3 years for legal and audit purposes.
  • Upon account deletion request, your personal data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
  • Anonymised or aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for analytical purposes.

6. Cookies & Tracking
